A two stroke motor has a tuned pipe designed to work for the particular
dimensions of each motor size . these dimensions do not take into account what
happens when the motor is not at sea level.
Example, the motor at sea level that has 150lbs of compression only has 120 lbs
of compression at 7000ft.
Same motor down low has a pipe pressure at wide open throttle that measures say
x lbs. same pipe at 7000ft measures the same loss in pressure that the motor
does , due to the motors in ability to develop as much volume due to the thinner
air.
Now with the pipe not running at the design pressure it is not helping the motor
out as much as it could. Bring the pipe to pressure and the motor gets the full
benefit of the pipes design. sound waves achieve the correct timing speed when
the pipe is at its design pressure.
Our THING works with the
manipulation of sound waves and has proven to be a very successful way to
achieve correct pipe pressures over a very broad range of atmospheric
conditions.
Each motor size and shape requires a different set of dimensions to achieve the
correct correction of pressures. Entrance and exit points on a chassis is another side of what the end product ends up achieving and what one
THING may look
like in the final results.
